What is sweeter than a newborn baby?

I had photographed Nick and Christy's engagement (view here) and wedding (view here) and was pretty smitten over this sweet little one when I met her. She is just lovely.

Mother and daughter

I photographed these images back in the fall, of my daughters friend and her mom, but couldn't post them as they were a Christmas gift and they wanted to keep it a surprise! 

There is something special about photographing the love between a mother and daughter, and I would love to do with my girls one day. It was cold out, but so beautiful with the breeze and dark clouds. 

I just loved this location with the long grass and rusty old truck. What a gem of a spot.

This set goes to show how the right attire can make the images extra beautiful. I think the colour choices and textures really added to the feel of the autumn organic feel.

I've been a little behind on my blogging….

I first photographed this family a few years ago, and was thrilled when they called to update their images as the kids have grown. What seriously lovely children. I love the colour choices and it was such a warm day - perfect for a shoot, just before the Santa Claus parade!!
